I've always enjoyed hiking in the mountains. The first time I saw edelweiss, I fell in love. I wanted to pick one, but just before I cut it I changed my mind. Why would I want to take this beauty out of the world where it belongs?
Today I draw edelweiss in different styles: painting on canvas, silk-screening, engraving, collage, neon or tattooing... A simple flower that will continue to inspire me for a long time to come
